ClubGG vs PPPoker, PokerBros and X-Poker

PPPoker, PokerBros and X-Poker are the other big club-based poker apps. Here they are next to ClubGG on facts from their App Store listings, with no rankings and nothing about traffic or rake, because no independent data on those exists.

The four apps on paper

All figures come from the US App Store, read through Apple's iTunes API on 30 October 2026.

Upoker, which people often mention alongside these, didn't appear in a US App Store search, so it isn't in the table.

How to read these numbers

  • Rating counts aren't player counts. PokerBROS has both the most US ratings and the oldest listing. Neither number tells you how many people play.
  • Listing languages aren't app languages. The store column shows what each developer declared to Apple. ClubGG's listing is English-only in every storefront checked, and we found no official list of its in-app languages. ClubGG's terms also require English in table chat.
  • Release dates are for the iOS listing only. ClubGG's App Store listing dates from October 2020. Its US membership launch came in August 2021, according to trade press.

What we can't compare, and why

No independent data exists on player traffic, rake or game integrity for any of these apps. Comparison pages online are mostly affiliate or spam sites selling club deals, and their “traffic” and “rakeback” figures can't be checked. We leave those rows out rather than guess.

Picking an app for your group

If your group…Consider
Already plays on one appStay there. Moving a home game is mostly about getting everyone to install something new.
Needs a store listing in Chinese, Thai or VietnameseClubGG's listing is English only, and its chat must be in English. The other three list those languages.
Wants WSOP-branded qualifiers in the same appClubGG offers this through WSOP+, where you're eligible. We didn't research the other apps' promotions.
Wants HUD and stats tools for practiceClubGG lists PokerCraft and Smart HUD as membership features.
Is looking for a real-money gameWe don't recommend any app for that. See where ClubGG is legal and is ClubGG legit?

Whatever you pick, install it only from an official store and treat anyone selling chips, “agent” deals or bots as a warning sign.

Questions people ask

Which club poker app is best?
It depends on what your group needs, and we don't rank apps. Our table compares what can be checked: developer, App Store languages, rating counts and release dates. If your friends already use one app, that usually decides it.
Which app has the most players?
No independent figures exist. ClubGG says it has 2M+ users and 120+ active unions; those are its own numbers. App Store rating counts measure reviews, not players.
Is ClubGG in more languages than PPPoker or PokerBros?
Not in its App Store listing. ClubGG's iOS listing shows English only, while PPPoker lists 16 languages, PokerBros 40+ and X-Poker 10. ClubGG's in-app language options aren't documented.
Are these apps for real money?
ClubGG's terms say free play only, and this handbook doesn't cover playing any app for money. Real-money club deals happen outside the apps and leave you unprotected; see is ClubGG real money?
