WSOP+ Basic vs Premium: what each plan gets you on ClubGG

WSOP+ is ClubGG's optional monthly membership: Basic costs $9.99 and Premium $49.99. You don't need either to play in clubs — they add qualifier access, desktop multi-tabling and extra tools.

The two plans side by side

Everything in this table comes from ClubGG's membership page, its how-to page and its terms. Where the official pages disagree, the row says so.

Without any membership you can still install the app, join clubs by Club ID, play on mobile (the store listing says up to 4 games at once) and run your own club.

Stage access: “once per day” vs “unlimited attempts”

This is the row most people misread, so here is exactly what the official pages say.

  • The membership page gives Basic “Stage 1 access once per day” and Premium “Unlimited Stage 1 access”.
  • The how-to-participate page describes Stage 1 as “unlimited attempts” without naming a plan.

These two statements conflict for Basic members. The narrower wording is on the newer, plan-specific page, so plan on one Stage 1 entry a day on Basic. If the app lets you in more often, that's a bonus, not something to pay for. The tournament lobby in the app is the final word.

Final Stage re-entry appears only under Premium. In practice, if you bust a Final Stage on Basic, the membership page lists nothing that lets you buy back in. The full Stage 1 → Stage 2 → Final Stage ladder is explained in Road to WSOP Circuit.

Multi-tabling: who actually needs 12 tables?

The table limits apply to the desktop clients: 6 tables on Basic, 12 on Premium. They matter only if you play on a computer and open several tables at once. On a phone the app description says you can play 4 games at once.

A quick self-check: count the most tables you had open in your last few sessions. If it was never more than 6, the Premium table cap gives you nothing extra.

Is it worth it for you?

We can't put a cash value on a membership, and you shouldn't trust anyone who does. Prizes are tournament tickets under sweepstakes rules, and the terms say tickets “have no monetary value”. Use the questions below to match a plan to how you play.

Before upgrading, the free routes are worth a look. The GGPoker crossover freeroll in club 222222 has listed WSOP+ Premium memberships among its prizes (GGPoker account holders only). Details are in free tournaments.

Buying, sharing and cancelling

  1. Buy inside the app. The website doesn't sell WSOP+. On iPhone and Android the payment runs through Apple or Google.
  2. One membership, two apps. It is shared across WSOP+ and ClubGG through the same GG Pass login. If you already pay for WSOP+ elsewhere, check you're signed in with that same GG Pass before you buy again.
  3. It renews automatically. Cancel any time. Your benefits last until the end of the current billing period.
  4. Cancel where you paid. Store subscriptions are managed in your Apple or Google account settings. The membership FAQ says to contact support about unexpected charges.

Refunds: two official answers

ClubGG's own pages don't agree on refunds.

  • Terms of Service, §9(b): “WSOP+ PREMIUM MEMBERSHIPS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE”.
  • Membership FAQ: refund eligibility “may vary”. Contact support, and Apple or Google rules apply to store purchases.

Assume you won't get your money back and decide before you subscribe. A refund also has knock-on effects: in the October Circuit Crew referral event, a friend's refund forfeited all rewards.

Old names you'll still see: Standard and Platinum

Before WSOP+, ClubGG sold its own plans. Platinum cost $49.99 a month when the US membership launched in August 2021, and trade press also mentions a Standard tier. WSOP+ launched around 17–18 June 2026, and Pokerfuse reported that it “effectively replaces” the earlier plans.

Old names linger. ClubGG's own Refer a Friend page still asks the friend to buy a “Platinum Membership”, and many review sites still quote Standard/Platinum prices and the dead clubgg.net support address. If a guide uses those names, check its prices against the in-app store.

Questions people ask

Do I need WSOP+ to play on ClubGG?
No. Club play is free. ClubGG's site says “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY”. WSOP+ adds membership tournaments, desktop multi-table limits and tools. Entry to the Road to WSOP Circuit qualifiers needs Basic or Premium, though.
Can I buy WSOP+ on the ClubGG website?
No. The membership page says it can be bought only inside the app. Store purchases follow Apple's or Google's billing rules.
Is WSOP+ the same as the old Platinum membership?
It is the plan that replaced it. Trade press reported in June 2026 that WSOP+ effectively replaced ClubGG's earlier Standard and Platinum plans. Some official pages, such as Refer a Friend, still use the old name.
Can I get a refund on WSOP+?
Don't count on one. The terms say Premium memberships are not refundable, while the membership FAQ says eligibility “may vary” and points you to support. For App Store or Google Play purchases, the store's rules apply.
Does one WSOP+ membership cover both ClubGG and the WSOP+ app?
Yes. The membership page says it is shared across WSOP+ and ClubGG through the same GG Pass account. See the account guide for GG Pass.
